Job Summary
Develops and executes the evaluation, financial, and operational strategy for mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture projects. Advises and evaluates deal rationale, financial projections, risk assessment, and financial implications. Oversees due diligence, financial planning, scoping, negotiations, closing, and integration. Plans and implements a negotiation strategy and leads the negotiations with stakeholders. Plans and implements the integration strategy with key stakeholders.

Job Scope

• Evaluates the organization’s opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Oversees M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration.
• Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk.
• Develops financial models used to estimate cash flow and the potential for profitability.
• Participates in negotiations to secure the best possible terms.
• Ensures that project milestones are met, and budgets adhered to.
• During integration will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for all things related to integration and establishing the overall integration process design, mechanics, and protocols for all stakeholders to follow.

Essential Education, Experience and Attributes

• MBA or equivalent

• 5 years or more leading M&A activity
