Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains Dansko brand guidelines, makes suggestions for improvements, updates
brand book with new content and changes.
Within the Dansko brand guidelines, creates concepts for new seasonal collateral, from
trade materials to consumer facing content.
Provides input to Vice President of Marketing regarding Creative team members’
creative output
Develops concepts for new promotional items briefed by retail marketing and digital
marketing partners, including GWP.
In this role, the individual will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and editing content
including graphics for print and digital, illustrations, and packaging. This person must
have a keen design eye as well as the ability to develop new creative concepts that keep
our brand look and feel evolving in a fresh, innovative, and energetic way. A meticulous
attention to detail is critical. Reporting to the VP of marketing, this is a hands-on role
that works directly alongside our internal graphic design and photography teams.
Candidates must be a leader amongst their peers and provide creative inspiration, and
feedback to teammates.
Maintains and updates Dansko iconography.
Provide Creative Leadership/Inspiration/feedback to teammates
Reviews asset library and makes recommendations for improvements.
Supports creative for seasonal sales meetings and events.
Works closely with VP marketing to review seasonal lifestyle photography and digital
visual assets, recommends edits, and makes appropriate color corrections. Presents
Graphic design for designated projects including but not limited to signage, home
pages, banners, packaging, catalogs, and brochures.
Designs packaging elements as needed.

Job Qualifications:
Fluent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
Experience in a branded lifestyle consumer products environment or an agency environment.
Strong typographic, layout, and illustration abilities.
Eye for beautiful, consistent creative.
Able to sell and present new creative concepts.
Solution oriented. Sees obstacles as opportunities.
Beginner’s mindset. A constant learner who seeks out new technologies that will enhance our creative.
Stellar attitude and works well in a highly collaborative environment.
Preferred Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Art, Graphic Design preferred
5-7 Years of Brand design experience
