Position Summary:

This once in a lifetime opportunity provides an exciting platfrom to bring your product and domain expertise to define, develop and market a portfolio of digital night vision enabled weapon mounted systems from a newly formed sporting optics company spun from a well-established international weaponry company who is well known for their digital night vision solutions.  Leveraging your extensive background in scaling technology relevant product lines, you will play a pivotal Leadership Team role ensuring a shared vision and execution plan for advancing the brand.  Your thought leadership and passion for innovation will guide us in assessing new products, identifying potential acquisition/partnership opportunities and inform technical advances.  As a high integrity leader cultivate our culture which obsesses about the customer experience and achieving globally recognized category leadership.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Full P&L accountability, including on-time release, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, product usability, customer satisfaction and business-critical metrics that guide reliable forecast methodology and global product planning
  • Transform the product strategy/vision into action by executing on business case development, competitive analysis, product-market fit, product differentiation and price optimization
  • Proactively align efforts to achieve product vision and outcomes, helping to identify and set objective and key results based on a data-driven approach and research
  • Attract, lead and mentor a team of product specialists, marketing pro’s and sales partners
  • Endlessly pursue a deep understanding of the customer needs, informed through research and clearly articulated analysis
  • Develop, track and report growth metrics and quality benchmarks to measure and track product and team performance
  • Manage the strategy and growth of Marketing Communications and Sales teams at each stage of the product life cycle


  • Ability to develop and grow durable relationships across the organization in support of a collaborative and effective product / business process
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Successfully implement data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap
  • Drive product analytics to understand sales performance, market penetration, and optimization of Go to Market messaging
  • Able to distill complex product concepts and roadmaps into coherent internal and external communications
  • People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring the research, design, and development team – fosters cross functional team building

  • Relevant under graduate degree, MBA desired
  • 8+ years of leadership and management experience in scaling teams across multiple organizations and geographies
  • Sporting Market Product Management leadership experience with direct line of business responsibility for $20M+ product line
