We are looking for a Creative Director to join the team who brings a mix of artistic, marketing and business expertise to the position. Seeking an experienced manager who can inspire and be inspired by others to take our creative efforts to the next level. This person has a strong point of view on concept and design and can drive and execute visual assets across all channels. The CD will build and manage a team of designers working on creative brand projects including packaging, photo, video, graphic, marketing, advertising, web and digital design and trade shows. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that come to life for any audience.

Short Term:

  • Lead the implementation and execution of our rebranding efforts across physical, digital and social shelf
  • Establish schedule and plan with cross functional leaders; drive execution with creatives and production that support aligned timelines for market execution

Ongoing:

  • Establish art department standards for production, productivity, and quality
  • Work with the entire creative team to conceptualize and execute brand and marketing assets across online and offline marketing channels including digital, social, email marketing and packaging; ensure consistency in creative execution
  • Provide a high level of conceptual thinking with the ability to understand copy and artwork within a concept
  • Develop ideas that are pushing the boundaries of product design and brand storytelling
  • Attend and support production shoot logistics, review shot list boards to ensure necessary concept is captured and approved
  • Provide creative oversight and input for creative assets, both internally produced and with any external agencies
  • Manage communications and updates to creative leadership as well as key stakeholders
  • Oversee quality assurance of creative deliverables to ensure designs align with strategy and adhere to brand, channel and platform guidelines
  • Develop presentation approaches, styles and techniques for the team to support business and sales needs
  • Analyze market trends, consumer needs, competitive landscapes and track campaign performance as it relates to content development and execution
  • Responsible for understanding tools on social platforms to deliver content that aligns with Brand and Social Strategy goals (ie Reels vs. Story vs. Static)

Qualifications

  •  5-10+ years of experience at agency/in-house concepting and art directing ideas for brand and product
  •  Portfolio demonstrating strong design, branding and storytelling abilities
  •  Experience working on digital, social and product-first campaigns
  •  Experience designing, art directing and articulating conceptual design decisions
  •  Experience bringing ideas to life with high quality comps and prototypes use creative software and other tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Video)
  •  Experience in Production and Manufacturing execution and lead times
  •  Experience in product design and design thinking
  •  Experience with self-initiated projects
  •  Detailed-oriented with a thinker/maker mindset
