English Riding Supply LLC is a leading distributor of equestrian products for the horse and rider.

Our client is currently seeking a Demand Planning Manager to join their growing team. The individual will
report to the Company’s CEO and will manage product forecasting, purchasing, and serve as an
integral part of the S&OP process to manage product lifecycles and optimize our SKU’s.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for managing the supply chain by working closely
with product, sales, finance, and our vendors on managing supply and demand for all products
within the English Riding Supply portfolio. They will analyze historical and forward-looking data of
our sales and supply chain to help inform key buying decisions. We’re looking for a team player who
is excited about continuously drive improvements to our demand planning and product flow.

  • Lead and manage supply and demand needs across categories.
  • Review sales and inventory data to develop monthly forecast models
  • Conduct weekly/monthly planning calls with sales and executive management to review sales data, Open to Buy, and variance to plan
  • Partner with key accounts to maximize inventory efficiency and minimize product overstocks
  • Facilitate cross-functional demand alignment meetings with sales and finance
  • Engage senior leaders in consensus demand plan, KPI metrics, risks, and opportunities within the S&OP cycle
  • Develop transition strategy and forecasts for product launches or changes
  • Work closely with suppliers to optimize order cadence and leverage economies of scale.
  • Communicate cross-functionally on issues related to product sales forecasts and product availability
  • Drive continuous improvements to increase forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias
  • Develop and maintain best in class reporting on product, channel, and seasonality trends
  • Play a critical role in any system implementation
  • Identify opportunities to build and improve the S&OP process
  • Lead, and develop buying team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of demand planning and supply chain management experience in consumer lifestyle products company or other related industry
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing, and prioritizing deadlines
  • Excellent collaborator and relationship builder; internal and external.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate people, operate in a fast-paced environment, and balance multiple responsibilities.
  • Advanced system and computer skills, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working in an integrated ERP (SAGE 100 preferred). Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with SAGE100 ERP is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, or business discipline.
  • Experience managing direct reports is preferred.
  • The role requires that you be on-site a few times a year in their Scranton location
