General Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager is a newly created role that offers the unique opportunity to shape Calbee’s digital and social presence across diverse online touchpoints. This person is responsible for driving digital excellence as well as business impact. The digital in-house expert will act as the liaison between the E-commerce and Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution
• Participate in the annual marketing planning by collaborating with the brand & sales teams to develop a fully integrated digital strategy that includes brand building & sales driving initiatives.
• Translate digital consumer & shopper insights into actionable digital plans.
• Optimize our e-commerce and e-site brand appearance in collaboration with the Marketing and E-Commerce team
• Lead the digital learning agenda and evaluate on regular basis the effectiveness & efficiency of the different tactics.
• Collaborate with the digital agency in order to develop impactful social media campaigns and social media content calendars in-line with the Marketing Plan (agency briefing, agency handling, post-campaign analysis).
• Lead and develop digital video content (for reach platforms) together with our digital agency.
• Develop an influencer strategy and build long-term influencer relationships.
• Manage paid media on social (from budget planning to performance tracking)
• Set-up and manage social partnerships
• Foster relationships with external technology companies, expand our network and provide access to new, interesting opportunities.

Website

• Oversee the evolution of our websites from total brand perspective, including engaging content, creative assets, blog posts, etc. to optimize the consumer journey experience.
• Play a key role in the set-up of a D2C platform for Calbee.
• Optimize our websites for SEO.
Specific Knowledge and Skills
• Progressive experience in digital strategy, integrated marketing and emerging/social media
• Excellent communication skills: is able to translate complex digital concepts to higher management
• Strategic thinking: is demonstrating ability to understand business goals and linking those within the area of responsibility
• Highly quantitative and analytical skills: turning data & insights into consumer-facing digital strategies and messages (social listening, google analytics, etc.)
• Critical eye for design, highest standards for content quality
• Collaborative, team-oriented spirit with a history of successfully developing cross-functional relationships
• Strong project management skills
• Passion for technology, innovation and being at the forefront of emerging marketing technologies

Education and Work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred. Background in Marketing, Computer Science or related field, Communications, Public Relations
• 5+ years in Marketing, with demonstrated profound digital experience
• Experience in CPG is a plus

• The position directly reports to Senior Marketing Manager
