Job Summary:

The candidate is a senior-level experienced sales and marketing operations manager. The candidate is highly analytical who will help drive the sales, brand, and marketing campaigns for SIONYX branded products on a global scale. The candidate is a strong leader who will support the SVP across departmental management while also is a key contributor to the department by providing reporting and suggested best practices through data driven predictive analysis. The candidate will report directly to the SVP of Sales and Marketing, will directly manage the Sales Operations reports, and assist in overall team management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth qualitative analysis reporting to drive sales and marketing strategies and to support corrections to plan to stay on budget.
  • Develop the department Annual Sales forecasts with geo-regional P&L metrics. Track Sales performance against goals w/ regular reporting and communication within team
  • Provide weekly sales reports to the SVP used in Executive Leadership reviews on sales performance, marketing ad metrics and D2C performance marketing
  • Own the Departmental CRM/ERP management and processes and hold team accountable against metrics
  • Researches and evaluates current economic conditions that may affect the organization’s ability to sell its products in the marketplace
  • Departmental liason with Supply Chain Operations on monthly sales to forecast performance (SIOP)
  • Support promotional strategy development to target price points, markets, and ROI
  • Perform various high-level tactical and operational functions, including research for strategic decks
  • Prepare scheduled, in-depth evaluation of sales and marketing performance for Operational Review Board (ORB) monthly
  • Evaluate business needs, conduct benchmarking, determine trends and propose solutions that are cost effective for easy adoption by the Sales team
  • Identify, attain and evaluate data to assist and propose business decisions in assigned sales area from different sources
  • Present sales planning analytical output as required for senior management presentations
  • The position will manage the Sales Operations team (currently 1 direct report) which is responsible for all purchase order input, new account set-up, and all communications with the Reps, accounts and Sales team
  • Stimulate continuous enhancement in sales reporting packages given to internal management team, leadership team and board

Qualification and Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 10 or more years of sales analytics with global market experience
  • Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
  • Experienced leader with both direct report and indirect report management
  • Thorough understanding of D2C performance marketing and channel sales
  • Experience in forecasting consumer packaged goods with a global omni-channel market strategy
  • In depth knowledge of building comprehensive reports and presentations for Executive and Board level meetings

  • In depth knowledge of firearms, hunting, tactical and maritime applications
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills utilizing PowerPoint, Excel, and CRMs
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills, including ability to identify opportunities and risks
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with varying priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal direction and as a project lead as needed
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based, insights and recommendations
  • Works well in a fast-paced business environment, is results-oriented, and deals with issues proactively and decisively
  • US Citizen or green card holder

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Business Analytics, Business Statistics, or related field
  • MBA’s will have preferential consideration
  • Comparable record of sales leadership experience required
