We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for improving and implementing existing selling strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share. You will be working in a B2B environment, selling dried fruit products to customers across the food and beverage space, specializing in the “good for you” category. This is a full-time position with a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities, qualifications, and essential job deliverables of an A+ Sales Director
- Experience in food ingredient and snack food business in the good for you space. Experience with dried fruit preferred
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that achieve sales goals. & KPIs Subsequent report to ownership KPI’s and sales performance milestones
- Develop and manage a productive broker network
- Mine, qualify, and develop new business
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand and align us with their business objectives and needs
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to ensure profitable sales outcomes
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify marketplace opportunities and threats
- Attending targeted tradeshows and identify potential new customers and build our Brand
- Collaborate with: Shipping, Quality, Safety, Production, Accounting, and other Departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with the existing sales and support team to increase demand for our products and meet internal and external customer requirements
- Attend meetings as required

Minimum qualifications
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
- Five years related sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and presentation skills
- Strong decision making, problem-solving and creative thinking skills
