The Sr. Staff Accountant is a critical part of a team that operates in a fast-paced environment by
providing support to the organization’s accounting department in all aspects of general
accounting duties.


  • Support month-end and year-end close process by:
    • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
    • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
    • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
    • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
    • Maintaining the accuracy of all accounting ledgers
    • Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
    • Participate in the preparation of financial statements and budgets according to schedule.
  • Assist with external and tax audit efforts.
  • Preparing monthly consolidations with multiple currency and intercompany accounting.
  • Proactively identifying process improvement opportunities, and advising on follow-up
  • Ensuring US GAAP compliance in the company’s financial reporting, including technical
    analyses of new and existing accounting pronouncements.
  • Timely preparation of financial reporting deliverables to the management team, including
    monthly reporting packages, board packages, and other adhoc analysis as needed.
  • Participate in merging all financial systems (Sage, SAP, Xtuple, Quickbooks) under the
    same platform to improve reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and automate


  • 3+ years of experience as an accountant, preferably with a Public Company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with CPA preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
  • Knowledge of internal controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis .
  • SEC and SOX Compliance experience .
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Hands on experience with accounting software: Sage, SAP, Xtuple, and Quickbooks preferred.
